In September 2020, Dean and Mimi had the pleasure of being invited by DopoLavoro Teatrale (DLT) to perform at the Venice Biennale in The Right Way . DLT is based in Toronto and dedicated to innovative and experimental creation that is designed for one single audience member at a time. It is a form that lends itself very well to performing during a pandemic, as was the case at the Venice Biennale. Dean and Mimi enjoyed working with DLT, and performing in this new form. They performed the 20 minute piece 84 times in 7 days. It was challenging and a great accomplishment. Working in Venice during a much quieter time due to the pandemic was the perfect time to be in this magical and normally-bustling-with-tourists city.
